PGH Theatre Connect - The Wright Way

So, exactly who is the woman who started the Vagina Revolution?

EVE ENSLER (Playwright/Performer) opened her new play The Good Body on Broadway in 2004, after hit runs in San Francisco and Seattle. She is in the middle of an extensive America tour.

She is the OBIE Award-winning author of The Vagina Monologues and the founder and artistic director of V-Day, a global movement to end violence against women and girls. In eight years, V-Day has raised more than $30 million for grass roots groups around the world. The Vagina Monologues has been translated into more than 45 languages and has run in theaters worldwide, including sold-out runs at both off-Broadway's Westside Theater and on London's West End (2002 Olivier Award nominee for Best Entertainment.)
